The activity started with the centralised learning session. Professionals from the District Economic and Information Bureau, District Fire Brigade and District Emergency Response Bureau gave in-depth explanations of safety knowledge from different perspectives. The District Economic and Information Bureau emphasised the policies and regulations on production safety, so that enterprises can clearly define the norms and bottom line in production; the District Fire Brigade introduced in detail the prevention of fires and the skills of initial fighting; and the District Emergency Response Bureau focused on the principles and methods of emergency response to various emergencies. Through the teaching of theoretical knowledge, the safety knowledge for enterprise personnel to build a solid foundation.
Subsequently, fire extinguishing drills and escape drills pushed the activities to a climax. In the simulated fire scene, enterprise employees, under the guidance of firefighters, experienced how to correctly use fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and other fire-fighting equipment to improve their practical ability. In the escape drill, everyone evacuated in an orderly manner according to the predetermined evacuation routes, further familiarising themselves with the escape procedures in case of emergency, and improving their reaction speed and self-rescue and mutual-rescue abilities in case of fire.
The first lesson of learning and training for the start of work not only sounded the safety alarm for enterprises under the jurisdiction of Dongxiao Street, but also provided practical safety skills. It is believed that through this activity, the enterprises will be able to incorporate the concept of production safety into their daily production operations in the new year, laying a solid foundation for the economic development and social stability of the street. In the future, we also look forward to seeing more similar activities to continuously improve the safety quality of enterprises and employees, and jointly create a safe and harmonious production environment.
